I love ukuleles. They are probably the happiest instrument in the world. And because they’re small, portable, lightweight, and generally cheap, they are the perfect instrument for the traveler or the developing world. They also have many chords which are composed of only 1 or two strings which make them great for the casual or professional musician as well as children. Hearing that happy high-pitched sound never ceases to make me happy and brings me back to fond nostalgia of my time living in the tropics.
That’s why I was excited to see the plans for a ukulele museum in Hawai’i, but here’s what makes this my favorite thing of today: the plan is to make the building ukulele shaped! Brilliant! Learn more here.
