I have to admit, this is something I’ve never thought about, but here’s a study that argues that it’s ethically okay to donate sperm after someone dies.https://jme.bmj.com/content/early/2020/01/08/medethics-2019-105637 I’m feeling that it’s okay as long as it’s opt-in. There’s something inherently different between donating a liver which will help another human live versus donating the means to create a new human. As a registered organ, blood, and bone marrow donor, I don’t like the idea of someone having my kids without be being able to choose that person and be a part of that child’s life.
